Outpatient Surgery Entrance


The new Outpatient Surgery Center was simultaneous with the construction of the new Emergency Department and is located above the Emergency Department at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. The space is designed to anticipate a future OR expansion as part of the overall Master Plan.

The new Outpatient Surgery Center includes a drop-off canopy entrance, new registration, waiting, and family support amenities. Also included is a pre-admission area with various exam rooms including chest, venipuncture and lab areas, admissions and business components.

The pre and post-op area includes 24 private exam rooms and associated support space. The Post Anesthesia Care unit includes 12 new stations with two isolation rooms for HVAC control as well as acoustical separation. This PACU is located adjacent to the existing Surgical Department so that staff can flex between the Surgery Department and the new Outpatient Surgery Center.
