Northern Hospital of Surry County has commissioned Wilkerson Associates to prepare a Master Plan for their facility. Part of that Master Plan included renovating the Emergency Department.

The front, walk-in side of the Emergency Department was addressed improving Triage Registration, Security and Waiting . Not only does the project improve the aesthetics of the Emergency Department, waiting and entrance, bur improves patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

The project contains 10 exam rooms and 10 fast track rooms.
