Stokes County Hospital
Replacement Hospital
King, North Carolina

Wake Forest University Baptist
Medical Center commissioned Wilkerson
Associates to design a replacement
facility for the Stokes-Reynolds
Memorial Hospital. The design
consists of a two-story facility
with a free standing 13,000 sf medical office
building to house a family practice physicians'
group reflecting the architectural
design on the campus.
The proposed hospital has a 24-hour emergency
department with a nearby helipad, three
operating rooms, laboratory, inpatient
pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology,
a cardiopulmonary suite, and an acute
med/surgical inpatient unit consisting
of two 15-bed private room wings.
There is also a 4-bed intensive care unit.
